안녕하십니까?
현대사회에서 공간정보는 도시계획, 공간분석 등과 같은 전문적 분야뿐만 아니라 내비게이션, 맛집 검색 등과 같은 일상생활 속까지 곳곳에 스며들어 활용되고 있습니다. 대한공간정보학회는 이러한 공간정보를 생산, 구축, 분석, 융합 및 서비스하는 전 분야에 걸쳐 학문과 기술발전을 위해 노력하는 곳으로 우리나라 공간정보의 산실이라 할 수 있습니다.
급격하게 변화하는 정보기술사회에서 우리 학회가 지속적으로 발전하기 위해서는 회원 여러분의 적극적인 참여와 관심이 무엇보다 중요합니다. 우리 학회에서는 회원분들이 자유롭게 지식을 나누고 소통할 수 있도록 학술대회, 워크샵 , 하계교육 등 다양한 프로그램을 마련하고 있으며, 관산학이 서로 협력하여 공간정보 발전에 이바지할 수 있도록 노력하고 있습니다.
2024년 춘계학술대회는 공간정보 원로분들의 지혜와 산업체의 최신 기술 그리고 언제나 기대되는 전문가의 발표가 어우러질 수 있도록 준비하고 있습니다. 또한 가을학회에는 일본, 중국, 인도, 대만 등의 공간정보학자들과 함께하는 국제학술대회 세션도 같이 계획하고 있습니다. 아울러 올해에는 저희 영문학회지가 SCIE에 등재될 수 있도록 최선을 다해 노력하겠습니다.
회원여러분의 많은 관심과 참여가 우리 대한공간정보학회의 자양분입니다. 공간정보와 학회의 발전을 위해 다같이 화이팅합시다.

In contemporary society, spatial information permeates not only specialized fields such as urban planning and spatial analysis but also everyday life activities like navigation and restaurant searches.
KOREA Spatial Information Society, serving as the cradle of spatial information in Korea, endeavors to advance academic and technological development across the entire spectrum of producing, constructing, analyzing, integrating, and servicing spatial information.
In the rapidly evolving information technology society, active participation and interest from our members are crucial for the continuous development of our society. To facilitate the free exchange of knowledge and communication among members, we organize various programs such as academic conferences, workshops, and summer education sessions. The association strives to foster collaboration among experts in the field to contribute to the advancement of spatial information.
The Spring Academic Conference in 2024 is being prepared to bring together the wisdom of senior experts, the latest industry technologies, and anticipated presentations from professionals. Additionally, plans are underway for an international academic conference session in the fall, featuring spatial information scholars from countries like Japan, China, India, and Taiwan. Furthermore, we are making every effort to ensure that our English-language journal can be indexed in SCIE this year.
Your active interest and participation, dear members, are the lifeblood of our KOREA Spatial Information Society. Let us all work together with enthusiasm for the development of spatial information and the association.
